While the students in the Mentor/TEAM community study at three separate campuses, there are still opportunities for all of our students to come together and enjoy a sense of community.
The Fashion Show gives TEAM School students an opportunity to contribute their time and effort to a worthy cause. Completely student-run, High School students take on leadership roles as head representatives, choreographers, clothing reps, and more, while elementary students may audition for a spot as a model in the show. The Fashion Show has raised over $200,000 for local charities such as Credit Valley Hospital, Trillium Hospital, Ian Anderson House, and Youth Without Shelter.
Celebration of Cultural Diversity
For two days in February, students from all divisions of Mentor and TEAM join together in one of the schools’ largest school-wide events. The three gyms at the Main Campus are transformed into a multicultural extravaganza – including music, dance, food, and celebration! Led by the students in the High School (Mentor/TSS) division, all students in the school partake in the event, either as performers, pavilion guides, executive members, or visitors.
The Inside Ride
If you have ever experienced the Inside Ride at Mentor College/TEAM School, you have surely witnessed the teamwork, camaraderie, and sense of school spirit that was present as students, teachers, principals, and parents ride in honour of a very special person to try to help get rid of a terrible disease.
Rides, games, cotton candy, and popcorn! The Main Campus is transformed into a carnival for a few days each spring as students from all divisions of Mentor/TEAM come together for a day of fun!
