Mrs. Anderson’s and Ms. Salo’s classes had a super time last week at the Outdoor Education Centre. The weather cooperated by raining during the night so that the group was able to enjoy all of the outdoor activities that Ms. Smith and Mr. Schell planned. Jenny served the classes a lot of good food that everyone gobbled up.

Tommy’s favourite activity was tetherball and he challenged students and teachers to matches at every recess. Catherine enjoyed watching the movies that they made Wednesday afternoon. They were really funny! Joseph and Olivia liked the hiking. The rock climbing wall challenged everyone, allowing Elisa, Stephen, Reilly, Elizabeth and Rahim to achieve their personal goals.

The survival game is a perennial favourite, as students tried their hardest to avoid being captured. Scott, Aaron, Matthew and Avery all chose this as their “best ever” activity. Catherine and Matthew were given Nature Geek T-shirts as they participated in all activities with great enthusiasm!
